Mas Novis Accomodations

In the Southern Cévennes at 420m altitude at the end of a road that leads nowhere else. The area is mountainous, grown with chestnut trees and green oaks. This is where we have converted the buildings of the old silk farm into various guestrooms and flats. We have kept the spirit of this ancient 14th century building, its spaces and atmosphere, but we have added colour and joy, an artistic touch and all the comfort you would wish.

We are open the whole year through. On a weekly basis in July and August; on demand the rest of the year.

The garden and its 15 acres’ estate: there is a garden around the house with cosy spaces for meals and rest areas.

The main hall can be completely opened towards the other four spaces to welcome up to 19 adults, with 5 bathrooms, central heating and the big fireplace of Strawberry tree Side.

The Hackberry side can host 6 persons in B&B and 9 persons in flat. It has a living room, 3 rooms and a mezzanine.

The Strawberry tree side can host 4 to 5 persons. It has 1 separate room and 1 mezzanine. There is a very big fireplace

The Cedar side can host 3 adults and a child. There is a beautiful cedar terrace with a beautiful view on the mountains.

The "Guest Room" can host 2 persons. Situated on the ground floor, its atmosphere is very special because it is vaulted.

We sell our own products, local or organic, in our "Petit Marché"...

As we don't want you to be only passers-by...

The "table d’hôtes", every other evening, is the best way we have found to favour contacts, to share experiences and to create an atmosphere. In this way we have time to be together and to get to know each other. We serve organic, vegetarian, seasonal and local cuisine. Our producers are at the most a few miles away. Our «table d’hôtes» offers evening meals on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In July and August we have a brunch on Sundays mornings. During the low season, we may serve evening meals on demand, on the other nigths.

We remind you that out of respect for everyone we have chosen to be a non-smoking house. However there is a cosy place outside near the mulberry trees for "addicts".

We welcome you as from 5:00 PM on the day of your arrival
preferably before 7:15 PM so that we can have our first drinks together!
